Caledonia Golf and Fish Club, True Blue Golf Club and Pawleys Plantation all sit a short run away, and their approaches were built for cars rather than cottages. Weddings here are oceanfront, marsh front and rental home affairs, with guests scattered across a dozen houses. What Moves the Price on a Pawleys Stretch Booking

Standing time first: a car that waits through a ceremony and a dinner is booked for the whole span even though it drives for twenty minutes of it. Then the run down from the north, since few stretch units are garaged this far south. Then the count of separate movements, each with its own parking problem on an island with nowhere to park.

Rated capacity is the last variable and the one that quietly ruins evenings. Knock roughly a fifth off the seat count once gowns and jackets are involved.
