Group Three

Travel, Daytime and Standing Runs

Point to point work and day itineraries. Less about atmosphere, more about arriving at a fixed time with the right amount of luggage space.

Size the Vehicle Before You Post

You don't have to choose a vehicle to get bids; operators will propose one. But a headcount plus a note about luggage or formalwear gets you a tighter number, because it removes the guesswork an operator otherwise prices as risk. Here's the rough map, with the place each class usually goes wrong.

Typical Grand Strand vehicle classes by group size
Group sizeUsual classWhere it gets awkward
1 to 3Executive sedanThree passengers plus three large suitcases on an airport run
4 to 7Executive SUVGolf bags and passengers competing for the same cargo space
8 to 10Stretch limousineRated capacity assumes street clothes, not gowns and suits
10 to 14Sprinter vanHeight limits at some resort entrances and parking decks
15 to 22SUV stretchLong private drives with no room to turn around
23 or moreParty busVenue staging rules that push the drop point away from the door

Capacity ranges above reflect what local fleets typically run, not a promise about any one operator's garage. Bids come back with photos of the specific unit assigned to your booking, so the vehicle you compare is the vehicle that shows up.

One Form Covers All Nineteen Services

Whatever you're planning, the request is the same: occasion, date, route, headcount. Operators whose fleet fits the job send sealed bids, and your contact details stay hidden until you accept one.

Planning around a specific venue? The Grand Strand destination directories map out what launches next, and limo companies can apply to bid here.

Questions About Choosing a Service

What riders ask before they pick a page and post a trip.

Which service page should I use if my trip covers two occasions?
Use the page for the movement with the hardest deadline, then describe the rest in the notes. A rehearsal dinner followed by an airport run the next morning is one request, not two. Operators read the whole description before they bid, and a single request that covers both legs usually prices better than two separate ones because the same vehicle and driver can cover the block.
Do all nineteen services cost the same to request?
Requesting is free on every page, for every service, with no account required. Posting a trip and comparing bids costs riders nothing. Operators pay a small success fee only after they win a booking, which is a fraction of what lead brokers charge them for recycled contact lists. That is the whole business model and it doesn't change from one service page to the next.
Can I request a vehicle type instead of picking a service?
Yes. Choose the passenger count in the form and add the vehicle you have in mind, or leave it open and let operators propose. Most riders overestimate how many people fit in a stretch and underestimate how much luggage a sedan swallows, so an open request often comes back with a better suggestion than the one you would have picked.
How far in advance should I post a trip?
It depends far more on the date than on the service. Peak Saturdays in spring and fall, festival weekends and holiday dates tighten the local fleet hard, and specialty vehicles disappear first. Posting early costs nothing and tells you immediately whether the market is tight for your date, which is worth knowing before you finalize a schedule around a vehicle you can't get.
Do these services cover the whole Grand Strand?
Yes, from Little River down through Georgetown, plus Conway, Carolina Forest and Socastee inland, and Charleston metro runs for airport and cruise transfers. Coverage on a given date depends on which operators are available, not on where your pickup sits. A pickup far from the main beach corridor may draw fewer bids, but it still reaches every operator whose fleet fits the job.
What if my occasion isn't on this list?
Post it anyway and describe it plainly. The nineteen pages here cover the trips people book most often on this coast, not the only trips operators run. Medical appointments, relocation days, film crews and long-distance one-way runs all get bid on. The form has a general option for exactly this reason.
Are the companies bidding on these services licensed?
Yes. Every operator holds active South Carolina business registration and the passenger carrier authority their vehicle class requires, with commercial livery insurance on file. We verify before a company can submit its first bid, not after a complaint. Bids also carry photos of the specific vehicle assigned to the booking rather than stock fleet shots.
