The Ocean Drive and Main Street district is compact, and on a busy night the curb belongs to cars, walkers and everybody else's ride. A vehicle this long cannot idle in the middle of that, so the chauffeur holds nearby and comes in when called.

During daylight none of this applies. The main roads carry the length without complaint and the residential sections below the narrow northern lanes are wide enough to turn in. Cherry Grove itself remains the one place to check the block first.

Barefoot Landing takes the top spot because a group this size can eat, shop and re board in the same place without the vehicle ever moving. Main Street covers the evening and the beach access points cover the afternoon.

Groups also run south toward the bigger attractions and north toward the Little River waterfront. Both are comfortable in this class provided the hold is booked rather than improvised.

Hold Time, Stops and Why They Add Up

Hours, because this class is almost always an evening hold. Then the number of pickup addresses, since three houses means three loads and three chances to fall behind. Then the season and the date, and finally the operator's drive up to the north end.
