The lanes at the top of town were laid out for beach cottages, not for twenty two feet of car. Vehicles park along both sides through the summer, several streets finish at a channel with no circle, and a chauffeur who commits to one may have to reverse the entire length of it.
South of there the picture changes. The main roads are wide, Barefoot Landing has parking built for coaches, and the sections nearest the Myrtle Beach line take a long car with no special planning.
Main Street Nights and Barefoot Landing Dinners
Main Street is the reason a limousine gets booked here at all. Shag dancing came from this stretch of coast and the clubs along it still fill on event weekends, so the scarce thing is curb space rather than road width. Book an hourly hold and choose a return corner off the busiest section.
Barefoot Landing is the opposite situation, which is to say no situation. There is room for a long car and plenty more. Agree the lot and the closest anchor when you accept the bid.

Deadhead and Access Drive the North End Number
Two factors carry more weight here than in the bigger city. Deadhead, because fewer operators are based at this end of the coast and the drive to reach you is part of the job. And access, because a bidder who knows the block is tight prices the extra minutes it takes to work it.
